Xavier Vignon 2007 Chardonnay Languedoc, France Reg. $17.99 now $15.99

Gold yellow wine with white fruits, flowers (acacia) and some honey on the nose. On the palate this Chardonnay is soft with some minerals and spice. Pair with soft cheeses, grilled veggies, grilled chicken dishes or seafood.


Xavier Vignon 2008 Viognier Languedoc, France Reg. $17.99 now $15.99

This Viognier is very aromatic; on the nose is green lemon, moving to apricot and ginger, very representative of this grape variety, traditional, classic Viognier. To be drunk with appetizers, white meat, dishes with sauce, cheeses.

Grenache 50%, Syrah 30%, Mourvedre 20%. The Grenache and Mourvedre vines are more than 80 years old; the Syrah are more than 20 years old. Rich color, ruby dress with purple casts. The nose is intense and mixes red fruits, black fruits, flowers and spices. Peppered and mentholated notes, thanks to syrah, with a lot of freshness. The mouth is bulky and very silky, powerful, generous. White meats, red meats, cuisine with herbs de Provence.

This red wine is coming from the Languedoc Region. Its typical nose, mentholated licorice, and its round and silky mouth, very well balanced. This wine is perfect for aromatic dishes, BBQ, spicy cuisine and hard cheeses.
